Consumer Rights and Responsibilities

A state-level Seminar on the Consumer Rights and Responsibilities of Consumer has been held in the premises of the local Dinbandhu Sahu Law College. In the said seminar, State President of Consumer Rights Organisation Mr. Eng. Bikram Keshari Rautray and President of District Consumer Court Mr. Pravat Kumar Padhi attended as Guest of Honour.

Mr. Sujit Kumar Mohanty, President of Governing Body, Dinbandhu Sahu Law College conducted the seminar.
Dr. Rabindra Kumar Bal, Principal of the college introduced the guests. On this occasion, the annual magazine "CONVERGENCE" of Dinbandhu Sahu Law College was launched by the guests.

In the said meeting, he gave a speech on the various legal aspects of the Consumer Rights and the various problems faced by the Consumers in their daily life. In the said meeting, President of District Consumer Rights Organization Mr. Eng. Bikram Keshari Rautray and President of District Consumer Court Mr. Pravat Kumar Padhi attended as the guest of honor and gave a speech on the sacrifice of Bhagabat Babu. The said speakers went on to express their well thought out views of Bhagabat Babu and said that Bhagabat Babu was not a person but an institution.

Ayaba Government Science College, Urban Co-operative Bank, Dinabandhu Sahu Law College and Bypass Road were constructed through his efforts. On the said occasion, a campaign was signed on tobacco, alcohol and drug prevention. Finally, the Senior Lecturer of the Institute, Kalinga Keshari Behera gave vote of thanks. In the said seminar, lecturers of different colleges, journalists, advocates and people from different sections of the society, all the members of the Goberning Body of the institution, all the members, students, all the staff of the college attended.
